The Arkansas Wings Basketball Club was founded in 1980 as a non-profit Christian outreach. Our mission is to impact the lives of Arkansas’ youth through the sport of basketball. It is OUR desire to provide opportunity for the development of the complete athlete!

Our adult volunteers perform an essential role in our program as role models and mentors first, and as coaches second. Our volunteer staff sets a positive example for ALL of our athletes. No person, player or coach is MORE important than our overall mission. ALL members are treated equally in our program, regardless of ability, race, religion, or social position.

As leaders, our coaches provide necessary leadership to our players, teach fundamental basketball skills, discipline, hard work, and a positive attitude. Our teams play hard, smart, and together!

Our criteria for selection of our coaching staff is based on devotion, character, ability, and attitude. We are proud of our coaching staff, both current and former which include many of Arkansas’ top High School, College, and amateur coaches such as:

We maintain a "No Tolerance" policy on drugs and alcohol. We do not tolerate ANY form of substance abuse, and will take every opportunity to speak out in its opposition.

We are proud of the reputation and traditions we have established over the years, and of the fact that 95% of the players who compete on our junior boys teams receive college scholarships. Entrusting us with the task of providing the necessary guidance and development of our players is not something we take lightly.

We have a clear understanding of what is required to operate a successful ball club, and NEVER stop striving to meet the challenge!
